Start your KVKK texts from a template, not a blank page.
When you set up your site, a KVKK (Turkish data protection law) privacy notice and cookie policy template comes ready, with your company details filled in. You have a lawyer check it before going live.

Why it matters
- No blank page: Sections prepared under Law No. 6698 come ready; you complete them for your own processes.
- Company details in one place: Title, MERSİS number, address, e-mail and KEP are written once and fill the tags in the text.
- Cookie consent asked properly: Visitors are asked for consent to non-essential cookies in a window that matches your theme.
- Quick answers to requests: Find a person's data by e-mail or phone, export it or anonymise it.
How it works
- Enter legal details: Under Settings › General › Privacy, enter your trade name, address, KVKK request e-mail and KEP address.
- Complete the template: Fill in and remove the bracketed notes on the KVKK page created at setup to match your processes.
- Have a lawyer check it: The text is a starting template; review it with your lawyer before publishing.
- Set the cookie window: If you use a service that sets cookies, such as Google Analytics, turn on the cookie consent window.
In your company panel
- KVKK privacy notice template: Data controller, purposes and legal grounds, transfers, retention and Article 11 rights.
- Cookie policy: Essential cookies, cookie-free statistics, consent-based analytics and embeds; on the KVKK page or a separate page.
- Clinic and store versions: Clinic sites get a health data section, stores get order data and retention periods.
- Cookie consent window: Off by default; when on, visitors get Accept, Reject and Preferences, with Reject looking the same as Accept.
- No analytics cookies without consent: Google Analytics starts in denied mode; no analytics cookies until the visitor agrees, and ad consent is never turned on.
- Personal data tool: Find a person by e-mail or phone, export their data as JSON or anonymise it.
- Distance sales and pre-information (Professional): Sample distance sales, pre-information and delivery and returns texts for your store.
The ready texts are not legal advice and do not make you KVKK-compliant on their own. The template is a starting point; adapt it to how you process data and have a lawyer check it. Sending campaign e-mails also needs consent and registration in İYS, the Turkish commercial message registry.
Frequently asked questions
Does the ready KVKK text make me fully compliant?
No. The template gives you the privacy notice sections and common clauses. KVKK compliance depends on how you process data; complete the text for your own processes and have a lawyer check it before publishing.
Is the cookie consent window required?
The window is off by default, and while it is off visit statistics are kept without storing anything on the visitor's device. If you add a service that sets non-essential cookies, such as Google Analytics, you need to turn the window on and ask for consent; assess your case with your lawyer.
What do I do if someone asks for their data to be erased?
In the company panel, go to Settings › Tools › Personal data and find the person by e-mail or phone. You can export their data as JSON or anonymise it; name, phone, e-mail and message are erased and only the date and type remain.
Which plan includes these features?
The KVKK and cookie policy template, the cookie consent window and the Personal data tool are on the free Starter plan too. Distance sales and pre-information texts for a store come with the store in Professional (699.99 TL/month).
Is there a different text for clinic websites?
Yes. Clinic sites get a health data section in the template, explaining that forms don't ask for health details and on which grounds special category data is processed. Review this section with your physician and lawyer too.
