Move your website without losing your work.

You upload your old site's export file to your company panel; pages, posts, categories and tags arrive as drafts. 301 redirects are added automatically for pages whose address changes.

Why it matters

How it works

  1. Prepare the file: Export all content as XML (WXR) from your old site's admin, or use a JSON backup from the panel.
  2. Upload it: On Settings › Tools › Import, choose the file and press Import.
  3. Read the report: Check the pages, posts and redirects created, plus skipped items and warnings.
  4. Add images and menus: Upload images to the media library and rebuild the menu on the Menus screen.
  5. Connect your domain: When everything is ready, connect your domain; visitors reach your new site at the same address.

In your company panel

Images and attachments aren't downloaded from the file; you upload them to the media library. Menus, theme templates and comments aren't imported, and if a post has several categories only the first is kept. The file can be up to 20 MB.

Frequently asked questions

Does website migration cost anything?

No. The import tool is on every plan, including the free Starter plan. A site admin uses it from Settings › Tools › Import.

Will my Google rankings drop?

Because URLs are kept and changed ones are redirected with 301s, the risk is lower, but nobody can guarantee rankings. After the move, connect Search Console and watch index status and 404 suggestions for a few weeks.

What content is imported?

From the XML file, published, draft, pending, private and scheduled pages and posts arrive as drafts; categories become blog categories and tags become post tags. If content already exists at the same URL, that item is skipped and listed in the report.

What about my images?

Image files aren't inside the XML file, so they aren't downloaded automatically. You upload images to the media library and add them to the relevant pages.

Can I move my accounting data too?

Yes. You import customer accounts, products and invoices into the pre-accounting module from Excel or CSV, with preview and field-matching steps. Pre-accounting is included in Professional and above.

My old platform has no export file. What now?

Open a support request from the panel and include your old site's address. Once the pages are rebuilt on the new site, you link the old URLs with 301s on the Redirects screen.
