Connecting Search Console and Google Analytics to your site panel
You set up the connection once, and your search clicks, visitors and speed score arrive in the panel automatically every day. No password sharing needed.
In short
- The SEO › Connections screen is a four-step wizard: site analysis, Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and PageSpeed.
- In Search Console, you add the service account email shown on screen as a user; the permission should be "Full" to submit sitemaps, or "Restricted" for read-only access.
- In GA4, you add the same email from Property access management with the Viewer role.
- PageSpeed is measured automatically every day for mobile and desktop; no setup needed.
- The first data starts arriving within an hour; Search Console data is delayed by 2–3 days on Google's side.
Google tells you about your site through two free tools: Search Console shows how often you appear and get clicked in search results, and Google Analytics 4 shows what visitors do on your site. The Heyşirket site panel reads this data for you and brings it together on one screen in the SEO center. You don't share your Google password to connect; you give the panel's service account read access.
- Site analysis — Starts in one click
- Search Console — Add the email as a user
- Google Analytics 4 — Viewer role
- PageSpeed — Automatic
Part 1 Before you start
In the panel, open SEO › Connections and start the site analysis in the first step. A service account email appears on screen with a copy button next to it; you'll use this email in the next two steps. If your site is live on your own domain, it's best to set up the connection after the domain is connected (see connecting your own domain).
Part 2 Connecting Search Console
Adding the service account to Search Console
Open your property
Go to search.google.com/search-console and select your site. If your site isn't in Search Console yet, add and verify it as a property first; a domain property is preferred.
Users and permissions
At the bottom of the left menu, choose Settings › Users and permissions › Add user.
Paste the email and choose a permission
Paste the email you copied from the panel. Choose Full as the permission so the panel can submit your sitemap to Google, or Restricted if you only want read access, then add it.
You can leave the property name empty
If the property field in the panel is left empty, the right property is found automatically. If you type it yourself, a domain property looks like sc-domain:ornek.com.
Verify
Click Verify in the panel. If you see the "Search Console connected" notice, you're all set.
Part 3 Connecting Google Analytics 4
Adding the service account to GA4
Open Admin
On analytics.google.com, open the admin settings with the gear icon at the bottom left.
Property access management
Choose Property › Property access management › + › Add users.
Role: Viewer
Paste the service account email and choose Viewer as the role. This role can't change any settings; it only reads reports.
Choose the property and verify
Go back to the panel, select or type the property, then click Verify.
Part 4 PageSpeed: no setup
Google PageSpeed is measured separately for mobile and desktop every day; you don't need to do anything. Detailed speed history and recommendations appear on the Speed screen in the Professional plan.
| Source | Data | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Search Console | Clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, search queries | Add the service account as a user |
| Google Analytics 4 | Visitors, page views, events and traffic sources | Add the service account as a Viewer |
| PageSpeed | Mobile and desktop speed score | Not needed |
After connecting, the first data starts arriving within an hour. Google publishes Search Console data with a 2–3 day delay, which is why the charts look empty for the first few days. We explain how to read the data in first steps with the SEO center.
Can the panel make changes to my site?
In GA4, the Viewer role only allows reading. In Search Console, "Full" permission allows submitting sitemaps; if you only want read access, choose "Restricted".
How do I remove the connection?
Just delete the service account email from the users in Search Console and GA4; the data can no longer be fetched.
Is this connection paid?
No. The SEO › Connections screen is included in the Starter plan too. Detailed screens such as keyword and page reports are in Professional; see Pricing.
Set up your connections Copy the service account email, add it to Search Console and Analytics, then verify. Go to Connections
